Lobsang Dhargye passed away July 7, 2012, in military hospital in Lhasa. He self-immolated on Mai 27, 2012 with his friend Dorje Tseten, who passed away the same day. The father of Lobsang Dhargye came from Ngaba to Lhassa to meet his son, but never could get any news about his son. Nobody was able to visit Dhargye since his hospitalisation, according to RFA.
