HOW you take part in the global day of action is entirely up to you, and actions can be as big or as small as you can manage. Each protest is being organised locally and will be different from the next – some actions will be simple, such as putting up posters in windows and on notice boards, other more complex – but all of them, in combination, will show the strength of our joint movements.
In many cases Groups are having to deal with local/national restrictions on gatherings that hinder the organisation of protests, and many of you have been crafting alternative ways to gather. For example, in the UK, Free Tibet and the Tibetan Community have organised a ‘Revolving Protest’ that will see small groups of people protesting together in shifts, using lots of visuals to make the protest look interesting – click on the image to visit their Facebook Event page for more information.
