Le 14e Dalaï Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, a été officiellement intronisé le 22 février 1940, à l’âge de quatre ans à Lhassa, au Tibet. Suite à sa sélection comme réincarnation du 13e Dalaï Lama en 1937, il fut escorté à Lhassa puis installé dans le Potala. Cette année marque le 86e anniversaire de l’intronisation.

The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, was officially enthroned on February 22, 1940, at the age of four in Lhasa, Tibet. Following his selection as the reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama in 1937, he was escorted to Lhasa and subsequently installed in the Potala. This year mark 86th anniversary of enthronment.
