Synopsis: A Tibetan exile living in Delhi remembers making a perilous trek across the Himalayas as a child that ended in tragedy. She has suppressed all recollection of that incident until she reunites with the guide who abandoned them during the journey.
The Sweet Requiem has been highly acclaimed at many international film festivals for it’s powerful and emotional story.
The night will also have information, fundraising merchandise and refreshment stalls.
Attending movie nights is a great way to support our work for Tibet while having an enjoyable night of entertainment with fellow Tibet supporters and Tibetan community.
Australia Tibet Council is a non-profit charity supported completely by the generous donations of our supporters and members. We do not receive any support from governments and function in this manner to acheive the best outcomes for Tibet without external influence.
